Told from a young age “you won’t be able to make this of yourself,” Josh defied expectations to build a remarkable career and purpose-driven life. He has gone on to feature on TV and radio, appear on BBC’s Saving Lives at Sea, and become a passionate advocate for maritime safety.

As a committed crew member of the RNLI, Josh has raised thousands of pounds for lifeboat stations, modelled for RNLI clothing launches, and helped spread sea safety awareness to thousands of people across the UK and beyond.

The documentary explores Josh’s early life, school and college years, how he joined the RNLI, his hardest shout, and a reflective look back on seven years as RNLI crew highlighting his sacrifices, challenges, and life-saving impact of his work.
